Welcome, I am Shannon

I’ve loved photography since college, where I studied art and first learned how to see light, texture, and detail with intention. My first camera was a gift from my husband — and at first, I mostly used it for family portraits and memories.

But over time, something deeper pulled me in.

Nature became my favorite subject. I’m drawn to the silence of a canyon at dawn, the challenge of capturing wildlife at just the right moment, or the fleeting light over a European landscape.

 Today, I serve as the president of my local photography club, and I love sharing this creative journey with others who find magic in the world around them.
